Today is soup day!

I made cold pink borstch for lunch. Served with gherkins, fresh radishes, hard boiled eggs and tzimmes. Fan-fucking-tastic.

My partner and I were supposed to be coking a pot of chili for the other crew' but the bastards abandoned us ten minutes before the whole area went bugshit and we got slammed back-to-back for hours. So when I came home, I basically made the hottest pot of chili I could. I'm pretty sure there are going to be some fatalities.

Buckwheat groats - I has them. Tomorrow I am making kasha varnishkes with fried onions and brown gravy. My house is at peace.

What I do is sometimes get a tin of soup, heat it up, poach an egg in it, and serve that with a pork pie and sausage roll.

That’s not all, Dank. One time I ordered this cheeseburger, but instead they put a frozen slab of meat in a deep fat fryer and served it to me in a tissue. I refused to pay. An argument ensued and I said some very racist things about the Scotch and about how fat most of them were, probably on account of what they did to their burgers.

Greek yogurt on sandwiches is really good as a mayo substitute. I didn't not like mayo before, but now I think it's disgusting. I ran out of yogurt today and was too lazy to go to the store, so I used mayo that's probably been sitting in the fridge for a year. I couldn't finish the sandwich.

I'm saying that I was fine with mayonnaise before I started using greek yogurt (many people do not like mayonnaise), but after I started using greek yogurt I was no longer OK with mayonnaise.

The Greeks are definitely better at making yoghurt than managing a market economy.
