Helpful tip: Matty Gilks is the first-choice 'keeper at Blackpool these days; I know this because he is ex-Rochdale and I therefore can't believe he's gonna be a premiership starter, but am pleased.

By the way, I just noticed that players now receive a 2-point penalty for scoring own goals, so be sure to review your fixture lists and sub out any players whose next game is against ManU.

You get a pretty miserable budget for this. This is going to take a while.

And I love how Fabregas, Fantasy points machine in season past, has been left out of everyones list.

I honestly fear that he will not produce at the usual rate this time around.

Well then you can transfer him out, bring in fat frank, and die a little inside.

I already feel unclean enough as it is. This fantasy stuff is nasty business. If I transfer out Fab it would be for Malouda and maybe upgrading one of my average strikers or midfielders. Fuck Frank. He has to have a bad season one of these years.

I wanted Fabregas, but who knows what he'll be like if his loan at Arsenal is extended? Also, Chelsea have an easy first few fixtures, while Arsenal go to Anfield, which is theoretically not any easy start. I can always sell Fat for Fab, but the other way around requires me to keep money in th bank.

Alternatively you could just keep a 12 point kitty to spend on the chief points getter of whoever is playing blackpool or west brom. It was the main way I used to get points back when Derby were in the league.
